Meet Xuba Evaristo, Massage Therapist

From an early age, Xuba (pronounced shoe-buh) has been deeply connected to movement and health. His passion began with athletics and dance, leading him to study Asian Philosophy and Pre-med at Macalester College in St. Paul, MN. Following graduation, he pursued postgraduate training in Holistic Bodywork at the New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts in Santa Fe, NM, shifting his focus fully to hands-on healing.

An Integrative Approach to Healing

Xuba has been in full-time professional practice since 2000, blending over three dozen modalities into his work. His integrative approach weaves together Cranial Sacral Therapy, Deep Tissue Bodywork, Myofascial Release, Asian bodywork, Visceral Manipulation, and a range of energy-balancing techniques. This unique combination allows him to adapt to each client’s needs—whether they’re seeking support for a medical condition, recovery after surgery, or simply deep relaxation.

Supporting Wellness and Recovery

With years of experience, Xuba is highly skilled in addressing complex conditions and supporting both pre- and post-operative care. His sessions often help with pain management, stress relief, improved mobility, and injury recovery. He’s also passionate about helping clients cultivate greater self-awareness, encouraging harmony between mind, body, and spirit.

In addition to his practice, Xuba completed a two-and-a-half-year apprenticeship with a holistic chiropractor in 2007 and has taught holistic cranial sacral therapy since 2008.

Life Beyond the Treatment Room

A proud Venezuelan-American, Xuba became a father in 2009 and continues to enjoy drumming, kirtan, capoeira, yoga, and hot springs. Time in nature is his grounding force.
