Meet Dr. Ali Raymo
Dr. Ali always knew she wanted to be in the health field but wasn’t exactly sure what she wanted to do. First, she earned a degree in Holistic Health Studies from St. Kate University. While there, a chiropractor came into one of her classes to talk about what they did. That, along with getting good results from chiropractic herself, ignited Dr. Ali’s passion for this form of natural health care.
She attended the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, graduating in December 2021 with her Doctor of Chiropractic. While Dr. Ali loved being in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and met some lifelong friends there, home was calling her name. She’s a native of Elk River, a little less than an hour from Apple Valley.
Joining the Lifeway Chiropractic and Wellness Team
For Dr. Ali, becoming a part of our team was a natural fit. “I was looking for a place that felt like home and a practice that had really good energy.” She’s delighted to have found that here and something priceless: a connection to her co-workers and patients.
Dr. Ali also likes serving families. She enjoys working with people, connecting with the entire family, and seeing each patient through every stage of their life. For her, it’s highly rewarding to create relationships with patients and watch them get better.
In addition to her doctorate, Dr. Ali will be certified in the Webster Technique in November.
Cultivating Better Health, One Adjustment at a Time
“I love being able to help people create a better relationship with their body, one that is aimed toward wellness and overall health. That includes different pillars of health, including your physical, spiritual, mental, personal, and social—blending all of that together to make a full, healthy recovery and to stay healthy through your lifetime.”
Dr. Ali adds that, for patients, being able to go to a provider who cares and wants to see them get better is powerful. She also loves the social aspect of being a chiropractor. “We get to interact in a way that you don’t with a lot of other providers.”
She enjoys seeing people of different ages, stages, and backgrounds and particularly likes working with those who have disabilities. Dr. Ali has considerable experience working with people with developmental disabilities and autism and has a great deal of passion in that area. Patients with scoliosis and seniors are some other types of patients she enjoys caring for.
An Active Life Outside the Practice
When she’s not working, Dr. Ali loves staying active. During the summer, she likes to camp, kayak, and spend time outdoors. In the winter months, she enjoys doing some crafts and does a lot of sewing and quilt-making. She also restores furniture.
